Best way to get business?

So my best friend's parents own a small restaurant. But their business is pretty slow. They make just enough to cover food and building cost, and just enough to pay the one cook in the back. They've already made huge cutbacks. I want to help them out any way possible to help them get more business. Any suggestions? They serve american/mexican food.
