Is it right to finance a royal wedding when the rest of the country is facing huge cutbacks in services etc?

No, it's not and whatever they pay is minuscule compared to the real costs. Don't be fooled by the claim that we the taxpayer are only paying for the security this is just an umbrella that the government can hide practically anything under .....and will.Good to see so many people waking up to reality.
