Should the UK govt closely observe the masses revolting in Tunisia?
The UK's fiscal position will be back to normal far sooner than that of Greece or Tunisia. Rioting protests just don't work in the UK as their legacy is the loss of far more jobs than there were before the mass protests. You only have to look at the UK in the 80s when union leaders completely ignored what the fiscal system was telling them and lost their members not only 1000s of jobs but whole industries as well. At least the present coalition is tackling the problem rather than sticking its head in the sand like the previous government did by dragging the UK into a deep financial crisis by their borrow and spend tactics.
