American saddlebred questions?

You can ride a saddlebred in any saddle you prefer. You can ride saddlebreds western, hunt seat, saddleseat, or even drive them. And if you have a saddlebred that knows how to rack, you don't need a cutback saddle for them to do it. Though I should tell you that not all saddlebreds are gaited. Many of them just have the four standard gaits and no others (walk, trot, canter, gallop). And all saddlebreds can canter, even the gaited ones. Also, not all saddlebred have "sensitive sides". As a whole, they tend to be high strung and flighty, but not all of them are like that, and not all of them are touchy.
