How long does it take to join the British Army?

Well assuming you fitness and your health is great you will get to the selection quite fast..say in afew months time.After that it will depend on the trade that you have chosen and when there is a vacancy for it.So it is not a specific time span,and again it also depends on how well you have passed your selection....As and Bs go in first whenever there is a vacancy,even if they did their selection after you. Guess the best thing is to get the highest grade in the selection and hope that a vacancy comes in sooner than later.Yes it is true it is getting harder going in since people are not resigning anymore for there are no more jobs in te civvy world....All the best M8
