Human Rights for Disabled People?
I have read lots of info on the internet about human rights for disabled people, one site said these rights would come into force 30 days after 30 countries agreed upon them. I am confused as to whether these rights are now enforcable in the UK? Also it seems to me that local authorities will have a hard time making the cutbacks in services to people with disability without contravening peoples rights if these rights are there for people to use. I am very interested in this because I have a disabled relative and would welcome informed information regarding actual rights that disabled people have in the UK. Most of the 'rights' I have read about such as 'The same as you' turn out not to be real 'rights'
